We've been engaged to recruit a Regional Manager of Business Development for a global leader in payroll, HR and workforce management technology. This is a leadership role responsible for driving performance across a UK BDR function, with a strong focus on coaching, development and measurable sales outcomes.

The UK operation forms part of a significant international sales organisation with strong investment in training, development and sales methodology.

The Role
Lead and develop a UK BDR team responsible for generating enterprise new business.
Coach BDRs on prospecting, qualification, performance and sales execution.
Drive a 100% new business strategy, with opportunities generated through self-sourced activity and marketing.
Target organisations with 2,000+ employees, engaging senior stakeholders including CHROs, CFOs and Chief Transformation Officers.
Manage performance against a balanced target, with 80% focused on meetings booked and 20% on revenue closed.
Drive an average of approximately 5.5 meetings per BDR per month, alongside revenue performance.
Embed structured sales and qualification methodologies including MEDDIC and BANT.

The Candidate
Minimum 3 years' new business sales leadership experience.
Proven experience running and leading a BDR function as a dedicated manager.
A strong sales coach who can demonstrably improve individual and team performance.
Comfortable managing upwards and operating with senior sales leadership.
Coachable, commercially driven and able to create accountability within a team.
Experience within HR technology, payroll or workforce management is not required; leadership capability and sales coaching experience are the key requirements.
The Package
Basic Salary: £65,000-£70,000
OTE: £85,000-£90,000
Commission: Quarterly
