Business Manager – Luxury Skincare
Central London Department Store
We are partnering with a prestigious luxury skincare house to appoint an experienced Business Manager for one of London’s most iconic luxury department stores.
This is a key leadership role for someone who combines strong commercial instinct with a genuine passion for luxury skincare, exceptional service, and team development.
You will take full ownership of the counter, leading a small team of Beauty Consultants while driving sales, client engagement, and the overall performance of the business.
The Role
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 5+ to deliver against individual and counter targets
- Take ownership of the commercial performance of the counter, closely monitoring sales, KPIs, and opportunities for growth
- Deliver an elevated, highly personalized client experience, with a strong focus on consultation and skincare expertise
- Build and maintain a strong VIP and repeat-client portfolio through effective CRM and clienteling
- Coach the team on product knowledge, consultation techniques, storytelling, and service
- Work closely with department store management and internal brand teams to maximize visibility and performance
- Support and execute events, animations, launches, and other commercial initiatives
- Maintain exceptional standards across merchandising, stock, operations, and the overall counter environment

About You
We are looking for an established Business Manager, Counter Manager, or senior beauty leader with experience managing a team of at least 5 within luxury beauty and skincare.

You will be commercially driven, confident analyzing performance, and comfortable taking accountability for a business, while still being highly present with both your team and clients on the shop floor.
A genuine passion for luxury skincare and high-touch service is essential. Additional languages would be highly desirable due to the international client base, but are not essential.
