Are you interested in working for a Swiss luxury brand known for their pioneering cellular anti-aging therapies?

Then the La Prairie Counter in Manchester Selfridges Exchange might be of interest to you. As part-time La Prairie Beauty Consultant (working 4 days a week), you will be our Maison Ambassador. Ensuring a truly exceptional, personalised luxury skincare service. You will build meaningful, long-lasting relationships with our discerning clients, create carefully curated experiences, and embody the highest standards of elegance and etiquette.

Main Accountabilities

  • Make informed business decisions aligned with brand values and ambitions.
  • Achieve sales objectives through both client retention and new client acquisition, with a focus on High Net Worth Individuals and VIPs.
  • Cultivate strong business relationships across the store, particularly with Personal Shoppers, Concierges, and other key partners.
  • Ensure retail excellence, maintaining impeccable housekeeping and point-of-sale standards at all times.
  • Create deep client connections, understanding individual needs to build trust and loyalty.
  • Proactively introduce and recommend tailored products, providing a truly personalised 1:1 luxury experience.
  • Engage and nurture relationships through La Prairie’s clienteling tools and systems.
  • Demonstrate expert product knowledge, confidently conveying the brand’s heritage, scientific innovation, and skincare benefits.
  • Deliver exceptional service by encouraging and demonstrating product application, both at the counter and within the cabin.
  • Utilise the treatment room to provide bespoke luxury facials and skincare treatments, enhancing the client experience and deepening loyalty.

Qualifications

  • Strong retail background with a track record of achieving results.
  • A passion for beauty and skincare, with a natural affinity for luxury and a commitment to excellence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to deliver inspiring, authentic, client-centric service.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to drive sales and exceed targets.
  • Confidence in networking within the store to create new business opportunities.
  • A collaborative team player, contributing positively to a diverse and high-performing team.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (desired)
