Role Description
The Beauty Salon Manager at So.Shell London is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role oversees daily salon operations, ensuring exceptional client experiences and consistent service quality across treatments. The manager schedules and supervises staff, monitors appointment flow, manages inventories and supplies, and maintains cleanliness and safety standards. They handle client inquiries and feedback, support marketing and promotions, and ensure adherence to brand guidelines and service protocols. The manager also participates in recruiting, onboarding, and training team members, while tracking performance, sales, and key operational metrics.

- Strong foundation in cosmetology and beauty services, with understanding of manicure, pedicure, brow, lash, and nail care.
- Knowledge of hair care techniques and product use, with the ability to supervise and support hair-related services where applicable.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with staff, clients, and stakeholders, including clear, professional verbal and written interactions.
- Proven customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction, conflict resolution, and maintaining a welcoming salon environment.
- Experience in hiring, onboarding, and coaching staff, including performance management and team development.
- Previous experience in salon, spa, or beauty retail management, preferably in a premium or multi-location setting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage schedules, inventory, and daily operations effectively.
- Basic understanding of budgeting, sales targets, and KPIs; ability to use scheduling and POS systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by salon operations.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in beauty, cosmetology, or salon management is advantageous.
