Role Description
The Beauty Salon Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, overseeing day-to-day operations across one or more So.Shell locations. This role includes managing staff schedules, supervising service standards, and ensuring a welcoming, well-maintained salon environment. The manager coordinates customer bookings, handles client inquiries and escalations, and supports front-of-house operations to maintain a smooth client experience. Responsibilities also include monitoring inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations. The Beauty Salon Manager contributes to marketing initiatives, tracks sales and performance metrics, and leads, coaches, and develops team members to meet business and service goals.

Qualifications

- Operational management skills, including staff supervision, scheduling, and day-to-day salon administration.
- Customer service and client relationship skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, feedback, and issue resolution professionally.
- Knowledge of beauty salon services and standards, ideally including manicure, pedicure, brow, and lash treatments.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to oversee multiple tasks and maintain a high-quality client experience.
- Basic financial and reporting skills, such as tracking sales, managing budgets, and monitoring KPIs.
- Experience with booking systems and digital tools for appointments, communications, and records.
- Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations within a beauty or personal care environment.
- Leadership and team-building capabilities, including coaching, performance feedback, and conflict management.
- Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Previous experience in salon, spa, or retail management is highly beneficial; formal beauty
