In this dynamic post, you will support pupils who face social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges, helping them regulate emotions and re-engage with learning. While a relevant qualification is preferred, a confident, positive attitude and lived support experience are equally valued. Earning £95 - £105 per day, this placement offers a solid foundation for expanding your credentials in education and training. Key Responsibilities
As an active Behaviour TA, you will help create a calm, structured classroom environment:
- De-escalation & Mentoring: Implement positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques for pupils
- Academic Engagement: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to keep pupils focused during literacy and numeracy tasks.
- Classroom Support: Work alongside class teachers to maintain an orderly learning environment
- Professional Growth: Apply up-to-date techniques gained through practical experience and modern education and training.

- Practical experience as a Behaviour TA, youth mentor, or SEMH support specialist.
- A Level 2/3 educational qualification is advantageous, supported by a commitment to education and training.
- Reliable access to transport (public or personal) to reach school locations in Mickle Trafford and surrounding areas.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to process one through Academics).
