Job Description
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has invited online applications for the post of Project Engineer-I on a temporary basis for its Naval Systems (S&CS) Strategic Business Unit. Eligible engineering graduates with relevant work experience can apply online before 04 July 2026.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer-I at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), you will be responsible for:
- Install, commission, and maintain electronic and electrical systems for defence and naval projects.
- Support the integration, testing, and deployment of communication and embedded systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot data networks, server storage, and networking equipment.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of VSAT communication systems and voice/video networking infrastructure.
- Perform system testing, diagnostics, and technical support activities at project sites.
- Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and installation records.
- Travel to customer locations across India for installation, commissioning, testing, and product support as required.
- Ensure compliance with BEL quality standards, safety procedures, and project timelines.
- Provide post-installation maintenance and technical support for deployed defence systems.

Qualifications & Eligibility
Candidates must possess a Full-Time B.E./B.Tech degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized University or Institution:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Telecommunication Engineering
- Communication Engineering
- Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering (SSI Post Only)
- Computer Science Engineering (SSI Post Only)
- Electronics & Instrumentation / Instrumentation Engineering (TSCS Post Only)
