Display Logic Ltd is a specialist manufacturer of creative display products and visual merchandising solutions with over 20 years of industry experience. The company offers a full range of services under one roof, including creative design, joinery, print, and installation, supported by ongoing investment in the latest technology. Display Logic Ltd provides bespoke display manufacturing and solutions such as reception counters, bars, display units, and in-store fixtures. Many of its clients are well-known high street retailers and supply chain companies, giving team members the opportunity to contribute to visible, high-impact projects.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Bench Hand Joiner role based in Halifax. The Bench Hand Joiner will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke display units and components, working from technical drawings and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing joinery work, using both hand tools and power tools to achieve high-quality results. The role involves collaborating with the design and production teams to meet project deadlines, maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment, and performing quality checks on finished products.

Qualifications

- Strong Carpentry skills, including experience in bespoke joinery work.
- Proficiency in using Hand Tools safely and effectively for precision cutting, shaping, and assembly.
- Ability to operate Power Tools confidently, following all safety procedures and workshop best practices.
- Experience of working with curved work, solid surface, veneer, and laminating.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings and CAD-generated specifications.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to consistent quality standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in shopfitting, display manufacturing, or a similar joinery environment is desirable.
- Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in joinery or carpentry is essential.
