Job Opportunity: Freelance Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker
We are working with a well-established bespoke joinery and furniture manufacturer specialising in high-end projects.
They are looking for an experienced Freelance Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join their workshop team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled craftsperson who takes pride in producing high-quality, bespoke work from drawings through to finished product.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke joinery and furniture within a workshop environment.
- Work from technical drawings, specifications, and cutting lists.
- Use a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Manufacture and assemble cabinets, furniture, and specialist joinery.
- Work with veneers, laminates, solid timber, and other materials.
- Produce high-quality finishes with excellent attention to detail.
- Work on projects including fitted furniture, cabinetry, reception desks, wall panelling, and bespoke joinery.

- Previous experience as a Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker within bespoke joinery or furniture manufacturing.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good knowledge of woodworking materials, construction methods, and finishes.
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in high-end residential or commercial joinery would be advantageous.
