Salary: up to £41,500pa (£18.80ph)
Are you an experienced Bench Joiner, Cabinet Maker, or Workshop Joiner looking to work on prestigious bespoke projects?
A leading specialist fit-out manufacturer based in Basildon is looking to recruit a skilled Bench Joiner to join their Specialist Projects team. Working from a modern manufacturing facility, you'll produce high-quality bespoke joinery for luxury commercial interiors across London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served Bench Joiner who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoys working from technical drawings, and wants to be part of a well-established and growing business.

- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Regular overtime available
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, including Christmas shutdown

The role
Duties
As a Bench Joiner, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality bespoke joinery to exacting standards for commercial fit-out projects. Your duties will include:
- Manufacturing and assembling bespoke joinery components
- Working accurately from technical drawings and production plans
- Operating woodworking machinery including panel saws and planer/thicknessers
- Producing shaped and profiled timber components
- Preparing completed work for the Spray Shop and Quality Control departments
- Maintaining exceptional quality standards throughout production
- Supporting colleagues across the manufacturing team when required
- Working safely and keeping your work area clean and organised

What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Bench Joiner, Cabinet Maker, Workshop Joiner, or similar
- Time-served apprenticeship or City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Bench Joinery (or equivalent experience)
- Experience operating woodworking machinery within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
