CASE MANAGER / BENEFIT SPECIALIST – ATTENDANCE ALLOWANCE

Self-Employed | Remote | Flexible | Immediate Start

Caring Futures is growing, and we are looking for experienced Case Managers / Benefit Specialists to join our expanding team.

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

You must have previous hands-on experience completing Attendance Allowance claim forms. This is a specialist role and we are specifically looking for people who already understand Attendance Allowance and know how to complete strong, accurate and detailed applications.

If you have never personally completed Attendance Allowance claim forms before, please do not apply.

General care, administration or customer-service experience alone is not sufficient.

THE ROLE

You will take responsibility for the cases you accept and support clients throughout the claims process.

The role includes:

  • Conducting scheduled Attendance Allowance application appointments
  • Completing detailed and accurate Attendance Allowance claim forms
  • Asking the right questions to understand a client's genuine day-to-day care and support needs
  • Identifying missing information or supporting documents
  • Maintaining clear and accurate case notes
  • Following up outstanding information where required
  • Monitoring claims as they progress through the DWP
  • Contacting the DWP for updates when appropriate
  • Recording approvals, declines and requests for further information
  • Supporting reconsiderations, appeals or additional evidence where appropriate
  • Ensuring cases are progressed efficiently from application through to outcome

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You must have:

  • Previous professional experience completing Attendance Allowance claims
  • Strong knowledge of Attendance Allowance applications
  • Confidence speaking with clients and gathering detailed information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisation and case-management skills
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of your workload
  • A professional, patient and compassionate approach
  • A reliable computer, internet connection and suitable private workspace

FLEXIBLE, REMOTE & WELL PAID

This is a self-employed contractor position offering genuine flexibility.

There are no fixed contracted working hours, and you can choose the volume of work you wish to accept around your other commitments.

The role is fully remote and well paid, with plenty of opportunity available for experienced specialists who want to take on a good volume of work.
