EMEA Benefits Advisor
Location: London, UK (Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office)
Reporting to: Head of Total Rewards
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Benefits Advisor to join a global Total Rewards team. This role is responsible for the strategic management and operational delivery of pension, retirement, health, and wellbeing programmes across the EMEA region.
Covering multiple countries including the UK, Germany, Austria, Singapore, and other international locations, the role requires a specialist who can balance strategic vendor management and programme design with strong operational execution. The successful candidate will ensure that employee benefits remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with both business objectives and employee wellbeing.
Responsibilities
Pension & Retirement Programmes
- Oversee governance and compliance of regional pension schemes, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements.
- Support ongoing reviews of pension plan performance, investment offerings, and fee structures.
- Manage the implementation and transition of pension arrangements in new and emerging markets.
- Act as the primary point of contact for complex pension-related queries.
- Coordinate employee pension education sessions and financial wellbeing initiatives.
- Manage pension audits and ensure timely completion of regulatory reporting and documentation.

Benefits Management
- Support the annual renewal process for medical, dental, life assurance, and income protection programmes.
- Partner with benefits brokers and external providers, managing performance and service delivery against agreed standards.
- Conduct market benchmarking and analyse industry trends to ensure benefits remain competitive.
- Develop and implement wellbeing initiatives covering physical, mental, and financial health.
- Create and maintain employee communications, benefit guides, intranet content, and enrolment materials.
Operations, Compliance & Governance
- Manage benefit enrolment processes and maintain accurate employee data within HR systems and vendor platforms.
- Partner with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure accurate benefit deductions, taxable benefit reporting, and invoice reconciliation.
- Maintain benefit policies and documentation in line with local legislation and internal governance requirements.
- Track regional benefits expenditure and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
Candidate Profile
Essential Experience & Skills

- 5-7+ years' experience in benefits administration, pensions, total rewards, or benefits consulting.
- Strong EMEA benefits experience, particularly within the UK, Germany, and/or Austria.
- Hands-on experience working with Workday or a similar global HRIS platform.
- Strong understanding of UK and European pension regulations and employee benefits compliance requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across international teams.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
