Key Job Responsibilities
- Design and manage comprehensive benefits programs for assigned European markets, ensuring compliance with local regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and alignment with Amazon's global strategy
- Develop and execute labor relations strategies that foster positive employee engagement and maintain strong partnerships with works councils and trade unions
- Explore and implement AI-driven technologies to streamline benefits processes, enhance employee experience, and drive healthcare cost curve optimization
- Lead strategic thinking initiatives and identify cross-market pattern recognition opportunities to scale innovative solutions across European markets
- Collaborate with AI systems and provide supervision for automated benefits processes while maintaining human oversight and decision-making authority
- Conduct in-depth analysis of benefits performance, leveraging data insights and business acumen to drive continuous improvement and cost optimization
- Engage with diverse stakeholders across multiple organizational levels to communicate, champion, and transform benefits programs effectively
- Drive innovation and transformation leadership by developing creative solutions that balance employee needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives

A Day in the Life
Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic planning, technological exploration, and collaborative problem-solving. You'll dive into designing comprehensive benefits programs, experiment with AI-driven solutions, engage with works councils and trade unions, analyze healthcare cost trends, and work with cross-functional teams to create meaningful impact across European markets.
About the Team

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, HR or a related field
- Experience with the principles and practices of compensation and benefits systems and relevant legislation in the EU region
- Experience with labor/employee relations
- Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data
- Experience in stakeholder management and communication management
- Deep understanding of European collective bargaining agreements, works council requirements, and regulatory frameworks
- Experience with AI and technology tools for data analytics, process automation, and healthcare cost management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large global teams
- Experience in oral and written communication
- Speak, write, and read fluently in French, Spanish, German or Italian
- Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Experience building scalable programs and repeatable scalable processes, leveraging various tools and methods to create scale and efficiency
- Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in ambiguous situations
- Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail
- Demonstrated success in vendor management and driving performance improvements
