We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join the team at Platter John Lewis Reading.
We Offer:
- Rate: £13.75 per hour
- Shifts: 5 days out of 7/ Mon- Fri/ Weekends
- Contract: Full Time

Job Description
- Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
- To ensure food safety compliance is followed at all times.
- To be responsible for a specific area or food offering, with flexibility to rotate to a new area if needed.
- To organise deliveries, checking delivery notes, and reporting any discrepancies.
- Assisting with clearing tables.
- Assisting with any team queries, supporting the management team.
- To carry out daily team briefings and assist with any team queries.
- To ensure all legislative and government guidelines are adhered to, such as Health and Safety, Food Safety and COSHH.
- To work on tills, following the cash handling procedures, taking orders and serving food and drinks.
Qualifications
- Positive can-do attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet the business needs
- Reliable and able to work well within a team
- Self motivated and proactive
