At Princess Alice Hospice, we support people through life, death, and grief across the London Boroughs of Kingston, Richmond, and large parts of Surrey. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Bereavement Counsellor with an interest in spirituality to join our Bereavement Service.

As our Bereavement Counsellor, you will provide high-quality clinical assessments and individual bereavement support for adults accessing our Bereavement Service. Through a holistic and person-centred approach, you will help individuals explore and navigate their grief, promoting emotional wellbeing during times of significant loss.
In this Bereavement Counsellor role, you will work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering culturally sensitive, empathic, and non-judgemental counselling both in person and through electronic media. You will also play an important role in the continued development of our Bereavement Service, helping us deliver the highest standards of care and support.

What you will bring as a Bereavement Counsellor:
- A recognised counselling qualification and at least two years' post-qualification experience.
- A strong understanding of bereavement, grief, significant loss, and human development.
- Experience conducting clinical assessments and providing bereavement counselling for adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to holistic, person-centred care and continuous professional development.
- A calm, reflective, and resilient approach, with the ability to work effectively in emotionally demanding circumstances.
