Bereavement Midwife

We have co-produced a bereavement pathway that follows families throughout the bereavement pathway whilst also supporting staff to give personalised and holistic bereavement care.

Role Overview

The role of the Band 6 Bereavement Midwife is to provide continuity of care to women and their families who experience pregnancy loss through to a subsequent pregnancy. They will be an advocate for women and their families in accordance with the philosophy and standards of care within the area, ensuring that Trust values and beliefs are upheld.
