Are you a compassionate and experienced facilitator, with lived experience of bereavement? We are looking for committed and friendly volunteers to help us run our 25 monthly peer support groups for bereaved adults (online and in person.)

Our peer support facilitators form the backbone of our organisation.
As part of our team, you will enable us to continue offering free, regular, inclusive access to support for people experiencing some of the most challenging moments of their lives. This is what makes us unique as a charity, and is why we receive regular feedback that TNN has saved people's lives.

We are looking for people with lived experience of bereavement, who want to be part of changing the cultural conversation around grief.

- Experience in group facilitation (although this may be in different settings)

What will you be doing?
We are looking for confident facilitators who can commit to facilitating a minimum of one peer support session per month.
We run bereavement meetings that range from Good Grief (for anyone who has experienced bereavement), to Parental Loss, Partner Loss, Queer Good Grief, and Black and Brown Good Grief.

Our groups are spaces where people can talk openly about their experiences, and share with others who may be going through similar. The facilitator role involves active listening and an inclusive approach. It is not a therapeutic or advice service - however, people with this experience are welcome to apply.
Peer Support Facilitation training is provided for free by TNN the next session will run weekly from Tuesday 6th October, 6-7.30pm, for 6 weeks. We have a strong volunteer programme in place which supports your development, and provides access to free therapy and monthly support sessions.
