Contract Type: Casual
Working Hours: Various hours on an ad-hoc basis covering vacancies, sickness and busy periods, school hours, evenings and weekend availability. Please confirm your availability on your application. (2 x post available)

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, respectful and compassionate individual who takes pride in providing a high-quality service to bereaved families and the wider community. You will be a good team player, able to work independently, communicate effectively and treat everyone with dignity and respect. You will be flexible, willing to learn and adapt to changing priorities, use your initiative and contribute ideas for improving our services. A strong commitment to health and safety, equality, diversity and inclusion is essential.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload, work effectively as part of a team and use initiative when undertaking a varied range of duties.
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture, landscaping, cemetery or bereavement services is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Good practical skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures and instructions, with an understanding of safe working practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, funeral directors, contractors and members of the public.
- Willingness to develop knowledge and skills across all aspects of cemetery operations.
