About the Role
The Bespoke & Production Specialist will help define, develop and deliver Cole & Son's bespoke service. Working as part of the Design team, this role will bring together client briefs, the Cole & Son brand and our manufacturing partners, translating creative ideas into clear, technically viable and production-ready solutions.
The postholder will take ownership of the day-to-day bespoke service proposition, defining the palette of options Cole & Son can offer, establishing clear parameters around what we do and do not do, and helping the business focus on the areas where Cole & Son can operate with genuine authenticity and authority.
The role will also contribute to the development of the new Bespoke Studio, helping to shape its content, customer journey and day-to-day operation, ensuring it communicates Cole & Son's heritage, craftsmanship and bespoke capabilities clearly, while supporting the progression of live client projects.
This is a practical, technically focused role for someone with strong colour awareness, excellent attention to detail, and a good understanding of print or surface-production processes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
