Chisholm Bookmakers is a family-run business established in the 1950s, with 32 betting shops located throughout the North East of England and Cumbria.
The success of the company, and also that of its employees, depends largely on the employees themselves, and so great emphasis is placed on training and development within the company.
About the Role
We are looking for a Betting Office Trainee Assistant Manager who will be required to work a minimum of 20 - 25 hours per week in our betting shops based in the Middlesbrough Area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of the shop
- Marketing our products and services to the highest possible standards
- Supervising the staff when managing, thereby ensuring the smooth running of the office
- Being keen to learn new skills and committed to providing the very best customer service

Training:
Full training is given through our training programme.
Working Hours:
We open at 9:00 am daily, and all offices take advantage of evening and Sunday racing. To cover our opening hours, we operate a flexible shift system.
Pay:
Our starting rate of pay is £12.96 per hour rising to £13.16 after training.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
