The Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Marketing Manager to join us at Burnley Football Club. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Club’s ongoing development and helping us deliver a first-class experience for players, staff, and supporters.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Marketing qualification
- Marketing experience preferably in sport
- Knowledge of email marketing practices
- Knowledge of website CMS
The Marketing Manager will lead the development and delivery of strategic marketing campaigns to enhance the club’s visibility, engagement, and fan growth.
You will also need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to work evenings and weekends.

- Create and implement marketing plans which increase attendance at home matches, improves fans experience, and develops a loyal and long-term fan base.
- Devise and implement events and initiatives which appeal to targeted fan audiences and encourages attendance.
- Create and develop a season-long marketing plan, with a focus on driving growth throughout the fan engagement funnel.
- Utilise CRM and supporter data to support audience segmentation and targeted campaign delivery.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and service providers.
