- Professional: £35,100.00-£54,600.00
- Senior Professional: £38,700.00- £54,600.00

Description of Role
TWI is seeking an experienced BGAS Lecturer to join our training team and support the delivery of our internationally recognised training and certification programmes.
TWI is the nominated training and examination provider for the BGAS CSWIP certification scheme and operates across more than 50 countries. Due to increased demand, we are looking for someone with strong practical experience in welding inspection, non-destructive testing and coatings or paint inspection who is enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and supporting the development of industry professionals.
As a BGAS Lecturer, you will deliver approved training courses to candidates in the UK and internationally. You will combine your technical expertise and practical pipeline inspection experience with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to individuals from a range of professional and educational backgrounds.
You will also contribute to the development of training and examination materials, invigilate and mark examinations, support audits and provide technical guidance to colleagues across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver industry recognised training courses
- Develop training and examination materials
- Invigilate and mark examinations
- Provide technical support to candidates and colleagues across the UK and internationally
- Work closely with programme managers
- Contribute to audits and quality activities
- Help maintain TWI's reputation for delivering world-class training and certification
Requirements
- Practical pipeline inspection experience
- Strong background in welding inspection, NDT, and coatings
- Supported by BGAS or CSWIP welding inspection certification
- Two Level 2 NDT qualifications
- Coating or paint inspection qualification
- Strong communication skills
- Experience developing training materials
- Ability to build relationships with clients and candidates

Beneficial Experience:
- Previous teaching or training experience
- Advanced NDT qualifications such as PAUT or ToFD
- Professional registration such as IEng or CEng

Working Hours
36 hours per week (full time), 8.30am - 16.30pm Monday to Thursday (finishing at 16.15pm on Friday). Part-time and hybrid working available in some roles.
