Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Develop and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Use Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools to present business insights.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities from business data.
  • Create KPIs and performance metrics to support business objectives.
  • Work with data engineers and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.
  • Validate data and troubleshoot reporting or data-quality issues.
  • Automate recurring reports and improve reporting processes.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, data sources, and business requirements.
  • Support management with ad-hoc analysis and data-driven recommendations.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
  • Knowledge of Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Understanding of data visualization and dashboard development.
  • Knowledge of data modelling and ETL concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with DAX and Power Query.
  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
