About The Role
Are you ready to join a Company that really believes that people are the very heart of the business and really values your contribution? We are currently recruiting for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Reporting team. This is an excellent long-term career opportunity in a high profile role with a leading employer.
This will be a key position over the coming years, as the company looks to increase revenue, improve profitability and Return on Investment. This role will require you to engage with various stakeholders within the business, both internal and external, to provide “best in class” reporting, to simplify and automate existing tasks, provide detailed analysis to aid decision making and give people the information needed to carry out their duties to its optimum.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Development of business and functional requirements for reports
- Engage with key stakeholders within the business (Customers, Sales, Operations, Finance, Assets)
- Scope requirements and prioritise accordingly
- Document and plan requests
- Completion of tasks through to user acceptance
- Help making people more self sufficient
- Reduce time consuming manual processes
- Enhance reporting output and visualisations
- Maintain effective working relationships with business departments
- Work closely with IT colleagues for data requirements and assistance with more complex requirements.

About You
To succeed in the role you will need:
- Experience in business reporting and analysis
- IT literate – Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI
- Use of Office365 tools like PowerApps, Teams and Power Automate would be an advantage
- Communication Skills - Strong written and oral communication skills and able to influence and communicate at all staff levels
- Strong presentation skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Organisation Skills - Strong time management capability
- Able to prioritise demands and manage own time effectively
- Self motivated and able to work under own initiative with a flexible approach to getting involved in various projects if required
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of both internal and external requirements.
