BI Analytics Engineer | Own the Power BI Estate
Berkshire · Hybrid · Excellent Salary + Benefits
This is a chance to take ownership of a high-profile Power BI environment and become the technical authority behind how data is modelled, governed and presented across the business.
We’re working with a long-term partner that has built a modern, AI-enabled analytics platform and is now looking for an Analytics Engineer to take its reporting capability to the next level.
You’ll sit at the centre of the analytics function, working across Data Engineering and domain teams to turn complex data into trusted, high-performance, production-ready reporting.

What you’ll be doing
- Own and optimise Power BI semantic models and star-schema architectures
- Productionise reports across Finance, Financial Crime, Marketing and other domains
- Establish consistent KPIs, definitions and metric governance across the business
- Push Power BI performance through advanced DAX optimisation
- Manage deployment pipelines and row-level security
- Work closely with Data Engineering and analysts to raise reporting standards
- Become the go-to technical expert for Power BI and enterprise reporting
What you’ll bring
- Strong hands-on experience managing and productionising Power BI estates
- Excellent DAX and dimensional modelling skills
- Strong SQL
- Experience with layered data architectures
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse or Azure Data Factory
- High technical standards and strong stakeholder communication
- A sharp eye for data quality, accuracy and performance
