Think the AA is just about roadside assistance? Think again.
For over a century, we've been evolving and adapting. Today, as the nation's leading motoring organisation, we offer a wide range of products and services to millions of customers. From roadside assistance to home and motor insurance, and the latest driving technologies, we have it all. As we continue to expand, diversify, and modernise, joining us as a BI Developer means you'll play a crucial role in our success and be part of this exciting motoring journey.
Our Chief Operating Office (COO) are the backbone of The AA, providing both stability and structure to support growth and innovation. We are the drivers of change.
This is the job
Turn data into insight. Turn insight into change.
As a Power BI Developer, you’ll turn complex operational data into clear, actionable insight that helps our Roadside Operations teams make better decisions and deliver meaningful change. Working in a highly data literate area of the business, you’ll see your work come to life as your dashboards, analysis and insights are used to improve performance and customer outcomes.
This is a hands-on technical role where success goes beyond building dashboards. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand and challenge requirements, uncover the real business need and bring data to life through compelling storytelling. You’ll create scalable, well governed Power BI solutions while helping shape how we use data and self-service analytics across the business.
What will I be doing?

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
