Job Description

About the Role

The post holder will work within the Business Intelligence Unit and have responsibility to support with the design, development and delivery of Trust wide solutions in data and reporting. They will be expected to develop and deliver complex automations using Robotic Processing Automation Software (Blue Prism) and Microsoft Power Platform. They will have previous experience with designing, developing and implementing RPA in an NHS environment (using Blue Prism Software), to enhance business productivity and maximise efficiencies. They will work closely alongside our Business Intelligence Team and stakeholders to effectively contribute and deliver the automation development.

The post holder will work with the Senior RPA Developer to understand highly complex issues, involving analysis of complex problems or issues and supporting with the development of intelligent automation solutions, which deliver information in clear, understandable formats. The role will also require engaging with customers, identifying requirements and ensuring a solution that meets the needs of the business while aligning to the overall IT strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Robotic Automations using Blue Prism Platform
  • Work with colleagues to transport applications across our development, test, and production environments
  • Testing of automations developed within the team - raising any concerns identified during the testing process
  • Working closely alongside Business Analytic Team & stakeholders to effectively contribute and deliver the automation development
  • Working alongside colleagues in developing diverse pieces of work on behalf of the Intelligent Automation Team
  • Managing change where changes to process or systems may impact on the RPA development or delivery; liaising closely with services, Business Intelligence Team and 3rd party providers of systems or services in order to manage and mitigate the impact of such change on the automation delivery
