About The Role

Your new role involves working as a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer within a dynamic healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that support critical business decision-making processes. This position requires a strong technical background in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, with a focus on delivering high-quality, actionable insights through Power BI and other BI tools. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to healthcare data analytics projects that impact patient care, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that business requirements are translated into effective technical solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years' experience in a Business Intelligence Developer role or similar position.
  • Proficiency in SQL query development, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, including dashboard creation, data modeling, and DAX formulas.
  • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end BI solutions, from data extraction to reporting and visualization.
  • Experience developing complex Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to healthcare or similar industries.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to gather and interpret business requirements effectively.
  • Experience with QlikView or Qlik Sense is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards and privacy regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust BI solutions that meet the needs of healthcare stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Create and optimize complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models that provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries and data pipelines to ensure accurate and timely data availability.
  • Implement data validation, quality checks, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and efficiency of BI solutions.
  • Participate in project planning and provide technical guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Document BI processes, data flows, and system architecture for future reference and compliance.
  • Stay updated with the latest BI tools and industry best practices to continuously improve data reporting capabilities.
