BI Developer / Analytics Engineer

Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35)
Location: London – Hybrid (2–3 days per week on-site)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled BI Developer / Analytics Engineer to join a team focused on creating comprehensive dashboards and robust data pipelines. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong expertise in dashboard development, data transformation, and analytics who can bridge the gap between backend data processing and frontend visualization — ensuring operational teams have access to reliable, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver user-friendly, visually compelling dashboards, primarily using Amazon QuickSight.
  • Execute complex data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation tasks, primarily using SQL, to prepare datasets for analysis.
  • Discover, connect to, and process data from a variety of sources, combining traditional relational databases with modern AWS cloud data services (e.g. S3, Athena, Redshift, and Glue).
  • Translate business needs for data presentation and narrative into non-technical KPIs, charts, and dashboards.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, understand, and translate requirements into technical specifications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
