BI & ERP Data Analyst
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 + bonus
Working Pattern: Predominantly office-based
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
A newly created opportunity has arisen for a BI & ERP Data Analyst to join a growing business in High Wycombe.
The organisation has recently rolled out a new ERP system across the wider group and is looking for someone who can take ownership of its data, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities.
This role will focus on analysing large volumes of ERP and customer data, improving reporting and data quality, and turning information into meaningful commercial insight. You will work closely with teams across Sales, Finance, Warehouse, Engineering, Operations, and IT.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse ERP and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and commercial opportunities.
- Build, maintain, and improve ERP reporting, dashboards, and operational reports.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and management information.
- Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into meaningful KPIs and actionable insight.
- Analyse customer buying patterns and identify opportunities for more proactive, data-led sales activity.
- Own and improve data quality, reporting definitions, governance rules, and data integrity.
- Support ERP data migration activity, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and cutover reporting.
- Develop exception reporting and identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and data processes.
- Troubleshoot data and reporting issues, identifying root causes and implementing improvements.
- Support the development of AI-enabled data capabilities by ensuring underlying datasets and reporting processes are accurate, reliable, and well governed.
- Work closely with the ERP Data Manager and wider IT and business teams.

About You
We are looking for someone with genuine experience working with ERP data and reporting who can combine strong technical analytical skills with commercial understanding.
Previous experience with the specific ERP system is not essential, but you should have experience working with an ERP environment and be comfortable dealing with large volumes of business data.
You will ideally have:
- Experience working with ERP data, reporting, or business systems.
- Strong data analysis skills and the ability to investigate data in detail.
- Experience with SQL and/or Power BI.
- Experience building dashboards, reports, and management information.
- Understanding of data modelling and DAX within Power BI.
- Experience identifying and resolving data quality or integrity issues.
- The ability to understand business requirements and translate them into useful reporting and insight.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to data governance and controls.
- The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience with Acumatica or a similar ERP platform.
- ERP configuration or customisation experience.
- Experience with ERP migration projects, data mapping, or reconciliation.
- Python or Power Automate experience.
- Experience within wholesale, distribution, logistics, or another order-driven environment.
- Experience supporting AI, automation, or data-led technology initiatives.
Commercial Focus
This is not simply a reporting role. A key part of the position will be understanding how the business can make better use of its data commercially.

You will investigate customer behaviour, buying patterns, and transactional data to identify opportunities for the Sales team to become more proactive and data-led.
The successful candidate will need to be comfortable asking questions about the data, challenging what they see, and translating analysis into practical recommendations for the wider business.

What We Offer
- £45,000–£50,000 basic salary.
- Two additional annual bonuses, typically around £1,000–£2,000 each.
- 33 days' annual leave including bank holidays.
- Paid overtime for hours worked beyond the standard working day.
