Build a Business Intelligence Practice, Not Just Dashboards!
Areti have partnered with a rapidly growing technology and consulting business that helps organisations improve performance through data-driven decision making, operational excellence, and digital transformation.
The company is investing heavily in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, and this role represents a unique opportunity to become the first dedicated hire within a newly created Business Intelligence practice.
You'll take ownership from day one, helping shape how reporting, analytics, and data services are delivered across the organisation and its client base.
This isn't a role where you'll be joining an established BI team and maintaining existing reports. You'll be laying the foundations, influencing direction, and helping build a capability that is expected to grow significantly over the next 12-24 months.
There are already plans for additional hires as the practice expands, creating a genuine pathway into mentoring, team leadership, and practice growth for the right person.
If you're looking for a role where you can have real influence, build something meaningful, and accelerate your career, this opportunity offers exactly that.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
