Role Description

The Biab nail technician will provide professional BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) manicures and related nail services to clients in an on-site salon environment located in London. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Consulting with clients about their nail needs and preferences
  • Performing BIAB applications, infills, removals, and maintenance

The role involves:

  • Maintaining strict hygiene and sanitation procedures
  • Managing appointment times efficiently
  • Ensuring a friendly, respectful, and inclusive client experience

Additional duties may include:

  • Advising clients on aftercare
  • Supporting retail sales of nail care products
  • Keeping tools and equipment in safe working order

This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

  • Professional training or certification in nail technology, with proven experience in BIAB/Builder gel application and other gel nail services.
  • Strong practical skills in nail preparation, shaping, cuticle care, and safe removal techniques, with excellent attention to detail and finish.
  • Knowledge of salon hygiene, health and safety standards, and best practices for infection control and product use.
  • Good communication and client care skills, including the ability to conduct consultations, explain treatments, and provide clear aftercare advice.
  • Reliability and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a full appointment schedule and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Basic familiarity with booking systems or salon software and comfort handling payments and client records.
  • Willingness to stay updated on new nail trends, products, and techniques; experience in additional nail or beauty treatments is an advantage.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom; previous on-site salon experience in London or similar urban setting is beneficial.
