Bid Analyst
Salary: £34,000 dependant on experience plus other Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Hybrid working 2-3 days in our London office

What you'll be doing:
You will work as part of a Product Team within Veolia DB&T, working alongside the Product Owner to support the DB&T element of all Municipal Bids.
The key focus of the role will be the provision of written documentation for the DB&T element of Municipal bids, plus the associated costs. You will work closely with the bid team to ensure all information is relevant, accurate and responsive to the requirements of each particular Authority.

You will need to:
- Work closely with the rest of the Municipal team to ensure your knowledge and understanding of the Municipal ICT offering is kept updated.
- Provide suitable written responses at each stage of the bid lifecycle, to strict deadlines.
- Ensure all responses are relevant, specific, fit for purpose and in line with the business need and direction of travel.
- Prepare and provide costs for each bid based on the resources provided by the bid team and the prevailing costs.
- Manage workload to ensure all deadlines for submission are achieved.
- Work closely with the bid team and attend all relevant dialogue meetings to better understand the specific Authority requirements, concerns and ambitions.
- Ensure all documentation is saved and accessible to the team.
- Create and maintain a library of DB&T information for future reference and ensure this is kept up to date (eg security statements).
- Create and maintain a library of diagrams, such as integration options and processes such as self monitoring activity.
- Ensure all related DB&T costs are kept up to date.
- Liaise with other teams as appropriate to ensure all required items are understood and costed appropriately.
- Work closely with other members of the Municipal team to keep up to date with changes to the Municipal offering and pending development.
- Provide regular updates to the rest of the team regarding the progress on and timelines for each project.
- When an award is confirmed, prepare and handover a scope document to the rest of the Municipal team.
- Remain constantly up to date with technology advances that could positively influence the system and/or roadmap.
- Convey enthusiasm and knowledge for products to enable the bid team and the Authority to understand the meaning behind functions & services and act as a motivating force.
- Additional areas to include costs benefit analysis of trial projects and involvement in other team projects as required.

- Attention to detail.
- High problem solving ability.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Extensive knowledge of operational systems.
- Experience in Veolia business activities.
