Bid and Proposals Coordinator
Location: Remote
Employment: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Depending on experience
Are you an experienced bid professional who can shape compelling narratives, manage complex submissions and bring clarity, structure and strategic thinking to the bid process?
We are partnering with a growing business consultancy to appoint a Bid & Proposals Coordinator who will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, commercially focused bids within an established and supportive team.
Why This Role Matters:
You will already have experience in bids, tenders or proposals and be confident working across multiple submissions at pace. Whether your background is in bid writing, proposal management, commercial coordination or a related communication‑focused role, you will bring strong writing skills, excellent organisation and the ability to translate technical information into clear, persuasive responses.
This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of more complex sections of the bid process, influence strategy, mentor junior colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.
The Role:
As a member of the bid function, you will support and lead key elements of the end to end bid lifecycle - from early opportunity review through to final submission and post‑bid feedback.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing tender documents, identifying strategic priorities and shaping response plans.
- Leading the drafting and editing of high‑quality, client‑focused tender responses.
- Conducting deeper research into clients, markets and competitors to strengthen bid strategy.
- Gathering and refining case studies, evidence and performance data.
- Interviewing subject‑matter experts and translating technical detail into clear, compelling content.
- Coordinating actions, deadlines and stakeholder contributions across multiple bids.
- Preparing bid plans, response structures and review schedules.
- Managing risks, dependencies and information gaps proactively.
- Ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance across all submission materials.
- Supporting final reviews, approvals and electronic submissions.
- Capturing lessons learned and contributing to improved processes, templates and team capability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
No two days will be the same. You may be shaping a response strategy, drafting complex content, coordinating input from directors or guiding junior team members through best practice.
About You:
We are looking for someone who brings both experience and the right mindset.
You are likely to:
- Communicate with clarity, confidence and accuracy.
- Enjoy shaping narratives and strengthening the commercial impact of responses.
- Organise information effectively and manage multiple deadlines with ease.
- Build rapport with technical experts, directors and clients.
- Spot inconsistencies, unsupported claims and missing information quickly.
- Take ownership while keeping colleagues informed and engaged.
- Offer constructive feedback and support the development of others.
- Bring curiosity, humility and a collaborative approach to your work.
Kindness, honesty and a willingness to learn are valued as highly as technical skill. The team works closely, shares ideas openly and cares more about producing excellent work together than individual credit.
What’s On Offer?
- A full‑time, permanent role with genuine flexibility.
- A supportive culture that encourages growth, autonomy and continuous improvement.
- Opportunities to take ownership of more complex bids and strategic content.
- Regular feedback, collaboration and access to experienced bid professionals.
- The freedom to develop around your strengths, interests and long‑term ambitions.
- A working environment that respects personal commitments and healthy boundaries.

Flexible Working That Works:
This is a predominantly remote role, with optional access to office space where available. The team operates around 37.5 hours per week, but there is flexibility in how those hours are arranged.
Clear communication, reliable delivery and strong collaboration matter more than fixed desk time.
The consultancy provides a responsive service to clients, but it does not operate as a 24 hour business so your personal boundaries will be respected.
Who This Could Suit:
- An experienced Bid Writer / Coordinator ready for a step up.
- A strong communicator seeking greater ownership and strategic involvement.
- Someone who enjoys both writing and managing the moving parts of a complex bid.
