Job Title: Bid and Tender Manager
Location: Bradford
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, Hybrid available
Are you an experienced bid professional with a strong track record of managing tenders, developing compelling proposals and coordinating successful submissions?
We are currently recruiting for a Bid and Tender Manager to join an established and growing organisation based in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bid professional to take ownership of the full bid process, working with colleagues across different areas of the business to develop high quality submissions and support continued growth.
The role will involve managing a varied portfolio of bids and tenders, working closely with technical, operational and commercial teams to develop strong responses that meet client requirements and maximise the organisation's chances of success.
Key Responsibilities As Bid And Tender Manager
- Manage the full bid and tender process from initial opportunity assessment through to final submission
- Develop bid strategies, response plans, win themes and submission structures based on client requirements and evaluation criteria
- Coordinate contributions from technical, operational and commercial stakeholders, ensuring clear responsibilities and deadlines
- Write, edit and tailor high quality proposal content, including executive summaries, methodologies, project approaches and supporting information
- Manage internal review, governance and quality assurance processes to ensure submissions are accurate, professional and compliant
- Coordinate commercial and pricing information with relevant stakeholders
- Take ownership of the final production and submission of tenders, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
- Maintain and develop bid templates, case studies, project references and other supporting content
- Review completed bids and feedback to identify opportunities to improve future submissions and bid processes
- Help establish consistent best practice across the wider business and continually improve the quality of bid activity

What we're looking for as a Bid and Tender Manager:
- Experience in bid management, tender management, proposal writing or a similar position
- Proven experience managing complex bids and coordinating submissions from start to finish
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple contributors effectively
- Excellent written communication and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive and professional content
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Experience working with formal tender and RFP processes
- A good understanding of bid management processes, governance and quality assurance
- Experience within consultancy, professional services, construction, engineering or another project based environment would be advantageous
- Experience using Adobe InDesign or similar design software would be beneficial
- A proactive and commercially aware approach, with the confidence to work independently and influence stakeholders across the business
