Bid Co-Ordinator
Caddick Construction is a family-owned business renowned for quality, integrity, and innovation in the construction sector. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bid Co-Ordinator to join our growing pre-construction and business development team in the Midlands.
This role plays a key part in shaping early customer engagement and strengthening our pipeline of opportunities. Working closely with the Business Development Manager and Pre-Construction teams, you will support the development of compelling, high-quality submissions that reflect our brand, technical capability and commitment to excellence.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and inquisitive individual who can translate technical information into clear, engaging and persuasive written content, while helping to continuously improve our bid processes and knowledge management systems.
What You’ll Do
Bid & Proposal Production
- Produce high-quality, client-focused submissions including Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs), capability documents and tender returns.
- Coordinate and manage submission deliverables from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
- Work closely with Business Development, Pre-Construction and the Proposals Manager to prepare tailored responses and interview presentations.
- Develop and write clear, accurate and well-structured technical responses.
- Review draft submissions to ensure all questions are fully addressed and aligned with client requirements.

Content Development & Evidence Gathering
- Research, gather and collate information and supporting evidence required for submissions.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date project case studies, including visiting live sites where required to gather insight and produce detailed write-ups.
- Produce supporting documentation such as organisation charts, CVs and standard templates.
- Support the Business Development Manager in producing capability brochures and marketing collateral.
Knowledge Management & Process Support
- Maintain and enhance the internal knowledge library, including case studies, templates and standard bid documents.
- Update CRM systems and internal databases with intelligence and bid information.
- Ensure consistent branding and formatting across all documentation.
- Maintain accurate submission records and ensure master document sets remain accessible and up to date.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work collaboratively across the business to gather information and ensure cohesive, high-quality submissions.
- Use online tendering portals and planning systems effectively. Support preparation of post-tender presentations where required.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties aligned with the Bid Co-Ordinator role to support business needs.

- Excellent IT skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience using Adobe InDesign and PDF editing software.
- Experience supporting or coordinating bid processes.
- Ability to create and follow structured processes.
- Methodical, analytical and highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Personal Attributes
- Experience in a similar role is essential; formal qualifications are desirable but not essential.
