Salary: Up to £35,000 (depending on experience)

Location: Walsall, West Midlands

Contract: Full-Time | Permanent | 40 hours per week

The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Bid Co-ordinator to join our growing Bid and Business Development team.

This role will play a key part in supporting the successful delivery of bids, tenders and framework submissions across the business. Working alongside operational, commercial and business development teams, you will help coordinate opportunities from initial identification through to submission, ensuring deadlines are met and client requirements are fully satisfied.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring tender portals, client systems and opportunity alerts for new opportunities
  • Maintaining bid trackers, pipeline reports and management information
  • Coordinating bid activities, timescales and submission programmes
  • Supporting Bid/No Bid processes and governance requirements
  • Organising bid kick-off meetings and stakeholder reviews
  • Assisting with the preparation, formatting and submission of tender documents
  • Maintaining bid libraries, standard content, CVs and supporting documentation
  • Supporting compliance activities including Constructionline, CHAS and other accreditations
  • Managing portal registrations, updates and document uploads
  • Assisting with clarification responses and post-submission activities
  • Supporting CRM updates, reporting and business development activities
  • Providing administrative support to the Bid and Business Development team
  • Supporting client presentations, work-winning meetings and business reviews
  • Assisting with the planning and coordination of client events, roadshows and industry exhibitions

What You'll Need

  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proactive and positive approach to work
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in bids, tenders, sales support or administration would be beneficial but is not essential.
