Skills Solutions Group is recruiting on behalf of our client who is a longstanding Contractor who specialises in public sector refurbishment works and has an excellent track record.
Role Description
The Bid Coordinator is a full-time, hybrid role based in London, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for coordinating and preparing bids and tenders, including gathering information, drafting and organizing proposal documents, and ensuring timely submission. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements
- Maintaining bid trackers and documentation
- Supporting the development of standard templates and content

- Review and refine bid responses for clarity and impact
- Ensure compliance with client specifications
- Contribute to continuous improvement of bid processes
- Monitor relevant opportunities
- Support pipeline management
- Maintain accurate records of outcomes
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in bid preparation and bid processes, ideally with a Construction background, including coordinating documentation and ensuring compliance with requirements.
Candidates should possess skills related to tender submissions, including organizing materials, managing deadlines, and submitting completed bids accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to edit and proofread professional documents.
- Experience of managing clarifications and bid portals.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with experience handling multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) and comfort working with document management or CRM tools.

Advantageous
- Previous experience in bids, proposals, or a related coordination role within construction.
- Relevant education or training in business, communications, construction management, or a related field is beneficial.
