Turn complex technical expertise into winning opportunities. As a Bid Coordinator at Tetra Tech, you’ll play a central role in shaping high-quality proposals that support sustainable, resilient solutions for clients across the UK, Europe and beyond.
Purpose & Scope of the Role
Working within a collaborative team of Bid Coordinators, Bid Consultants, Commercial Bid Managers, a Bid Library Manager and an Opportunities Administrator, you will support the Bid Manager in producing bid and proposal documents and capability statements. Reporting to the Head of Technical Bids, you will coordinate the bid management process, bringing together technical content, commercial information and supporting documentation to ensure compliant, high-quality submissions.
Your Impact in this position
- Help manage bids from mobilisation through to submission, coordinating workshops, checkpoint calls, reviews and post-submission lessons learned.
- By managing bid programmes, engaging with Bid Managers, Technical Authors and external consultants, and maintaining robust bid controls, you will help ensure proposals are accurate, compelling and delivered on time.
- Support knowledge sharing by reviewing bid outcomes and adding high-scoring content to the Bid Content Database.

- Bid coordination and administration: Coordinate bid activities, organise mobilisation meetings, workshops, checkpoint calls and reviews, manage bid programmes and maintain accurate records.
- Quality and compliance: Ensure bids meet all requirements and comply with Group Bid Management Processes, maintaining high standards without compromising quality or deadlines.
- Stakeholder communication: Liaise effectively with Bid Managers, Technical Authors, external consultants and wider teams to secure the information required for successful submissions.
- Content and document management: Proof-read proposal content for grammar and spelling, coordinate supporting documentation and contribute to the Bid Content Database.
- Planning, technology and continuous improvement: Use advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, alongside intermediate InDesign and AI capability, while supporting lessons learned and improved ways of working.

Training, Qualifications & Experience
- Ideally, have experience in bid coordination, business support, administration or a similar role requiring strong organisational, communication and programme management skills.
- Be confident managing information, maintaining accurate records and sharing knowledge across teams to support consistent, high-quality outputs.
- Excellent spoken and written English, initiative, perseverance, flexibility and collaborative working are essential.
- Experience in a technical, professional services or consultancy environment would be advantageous.

Working Environment
- This role can be based at any Tetra Tech office across the UK or Northern Ireland.
- You will attend your local office in line with business needs, with a flexible approach to home working.
- The role involves collaboration across regional teams and may require flexibility outside normal working hours to meet bid deadlines.
