An established architecture and heritage practice is looking for a Bid Coordinator to join their collaborative team in Manchester.
This is a creative bid coordination role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the bid process, working closely with Partners and stakeholders, and producing high-quality, visually engaging submissions.
The role would suit an experienced Bid Coordinator looking to develop their career within an established practice, or someone with strong design, marketing, or bid experience who is looking to move further into bid management.
You’ll have genuine ownership across the full bid lifecycle, from coordinating inputs and managing deadlines through to producing and reviewing the final submission. There’s also scope to contribute to wider business development and marketing activity, as well as improving processes and developing lessons learned.
Ideally, you’ll have experience within architecture, construction, engineering, or a related professional services environment. Strong Adobe InDesign skills are essential, alongside excellent organization, communication, and proofreading skills.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
