We're looking for a Bid Coordinator to join our Kier Construction team based in Hebburn / Leeds.

Location: Hebburn / Leeds – can be based out of either office as suits

Hours: 37.5 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Role Overview

The Bid Coordinator plays a key role within the Work Winning team, supporting the successful delivery of high-quality bids, proposals, frameworks, and pre-qualification submissions across Kier Construction's Northern regional business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and attention to detail to make a real impact in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Bid Coordinator, you'll be working within the Work Winning Team, supporting them in delivering successful tender submissions. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Coordinating the end-to-end bid process for construction tenders, including PQQs, ITTs, and framework submissions
  • Working closely with stakeholders to gather technical content and ensure readiness for submissions
  • Maintaining and updating the bid library, including CVs, case studies, and standard responses
  • Managing bid schedules and tracking deadlines using internal systems and trackers
  • Assisting in preparing presentations for client interviews and contributing to continuous improvement of the bid process

Requirements

This role of Bid Coordinator is great for you if:

  • You have experience in a bid coordination or senior administrative role within the built environment
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • You can manage multiple deadlines whilst maintaining quality and compliance
  • You're proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • You hold a relevant business, administration, or construction qualification and a Full driving license
