Business Development and Bids Director
Bedfordshire
We are currently working with an established and growing contractor within the Social Housing sector who are looking to appoint a Business Development & Bids Director. This is a senior appointment within the business and would suit someone with a strong background in bids, tenders, and business development within Social Housing, Property Services, or a similar contracting environment.
Alongside overseeing bids and major tender submissions, there will be a strong focus on business development. The successful candidate will be expected to identify new opportunities, develop relationships with prospective clients, and look at new markets and workstreams the business can move into.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Senior-level bids/tenders experience within Social Housing, Property Services, or Construction
- Experience managing and developing a bid team
- A strong track record of securing contracts and framework opportunities
- Excellent bid writing and tender management skills
- Experience developing new client relationships and generating opportunities
- Strong commercial awareness
- The confidence to work closely with Directors and influence business strategy
