Accurx is solving healthcare productivity for the NHS.
For decades, the NHS has struggled with fragmented systems that make simple tasks feel impossible. At Accurx, we’re changing that by building a single, system-wide platform that helps every patient get gold-standard, efficient, and joined-up care.
What started as a way for GPs to text a patient has now evolved into an all-in-one digital toolkit used by 98% of GP practices.
Our platform now powers Total Triage to manage patient demand, and Self-Book, which lets patients schedule their own appointments in seconds. We’ve automated routine care with Patient Questionnaires for long-term conditions, while Accumail finally allows staff-to-staff communication to happen instantly across different care settings. We’re now pushing the boundaries of the consultation itself with Accurx Scribe, our AI-powered note-taker that drafts medical notes in real-time.
We’re not just shipping features. We’re giving clinicians their time back and ensuring every patient journey is as smooth as it should be.
How you’ll drive Accurx’s primary care bid strategy
The Bid Lead is the strategic lead for each bid they own, from early capture to post-award handover. They set the bid's direction and win strategy and lead the cross-functional team that delivers it. They bring capture and bid expertise to produce outstanding responses to multi-million-pound tenders. They also lead Accurx's work on frameworks in their portfolio.
This role leads Accurx's primary care bids: tenders run by ICBs, often with CSU support, for GP practices, PCNs and GP federations. The immediate priority is the wave of 36 ICB tenders expected from January 2027.
- Get ahead of the ICB tender wave. You’ll shape our biggest primary care opportunities 6–12 months before release, working with opportunity owners and regional teams to build account insight, influence early engagement and turn customer needs into distinctive win themes.
- Decide where we can win — and how. You’ll lead qualification and go / no-go decisions, bringing together NHS priorities, ICB needs, Accurx’s strategy and the commercial approach to build a clear strategy for winning each opportunity.
- Lead multiple complex bids from start to finish. You’ll bring together and motivate cross-functional teams, owning the plan, governance, risks and deadlines from kick-off through to submission, presentations and handover — while keeping stakeholders informed along the way.
- Turn our impact into responses that stand out. Working closely with the Bid Writer / Manager, you’ll set the win themes, key messages and evidence for each response, lead quality reviews and make sure every submission is compelling, compliant and commercially sound.
- Build a winning approach to primary care. You’ll help us prepare for and sequence the 36 ICB tenders, building a reusable primary care win strategy and evidence base that can be tailored to each ICB’s population, priorities and existing use of Accurx. You’ll turn developments in primary care policy, commissioning and digital transformation into stronger bids.
- Make every bid strengthen the next one. You’ll turn feedback, wins and losses into better content and ways of working, strengthen our position on the frameworks used to buy primary care digital services, and use tools including AI thoughtfully to make our capture and bid processes more effective.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
