Bid Manager

Up to £75,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Are you an experienced Bid/Tender Manager who has experience with Logistics and Supply Chain? My client is a well-known global 3PL brand looking to expand their commercial team.

The role will play a key part in identifying new business opportunities whilst building strong working relationships with clients. You will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing business opportunities and solutions.

  • Build strong relationships with existing and new clients
  • Lead and oversee the bid process from start to finish by qualifying opportunities and submitting winning proposals
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Solution Design, Finance, Logistics, and Legal
  • Formulate effective strategies for the bidding process, manage resources, and ensure compliance with client requirements
  • Create comprehensive bid documents, ensuring precision and adherence to guidelines while coordinating with external and internal stakeholders
  • Provide regular and timely updates to internal stakeholders, monitoring progress and tender outcomes
  • Engage with suppliers to secure favourable costs and terms to make the bidding process cost-effective

Experience

  • You must have Bid Manager or Tender Manager experience
  • Previous experience managing large and complex bids
  • Be able to demonstrate success in winning bids
  • Previous experience within Supply Chain, Logistics, or Manufacturing
