Job Description
As our first dedicated Bid Manager, you will build and lead our bid function from the ground up. You’ll own the end-to-end lifecycle, writing high-quality technical responses and social value propositions for major UK transport tenders. This is a strategic role designed to capture significant new market share during a generation-defining shift in transport regulation.

What You Will Do
- Own the full bid lifecycle, managing multiple concurrent tenders from initial qualification through to submission and post-tender feedback.
- Craft high-quality technical, social value, and service delivery responses that translate complex engineering details into high-scoring content.
- Develop and maintain a robust content library, evidence base, and social value framework to ensure consistent excellence in every submission.
The ideal candidate
- Proven track record in managing and writing UK public sector bids, specifically within the framework of the Procurement Act 2023.
- Exceptional written English skills with the discipline to meet strict word limits and technical requirements while maintaining a persuasive narrative.
- Experience navigating e-tendering portals and coordinating with technical specialists to extract the data needed for winning bids.
