Role Description
The Bid Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in London, responsible for leading the end-to-end bid lifecycle for UK Government and defence focused projects. This role involves coordinating bid preparation activities, managing timelines and deliverables, and ensuring compliance with internal processes and client requirements. The Bid Manager will collaborate closely with operations, technical, and leadership teams to gather content, shape value propositions, and produce clear, compelling bid and proposal documents. Day-to-day activities include overseeing bid governance, maintaining bid documentation and libraries, supporting opportunity qualification, and contributing to continuous improvement of bid processes and tools.

- Proven Bid Management experience, ideally within the Defence or Maritime sectors.
- Candidates should possess Bid Writing skills or Tender Writing experience
- Candidates should possess Bid Preparation and Bid Processes skills, including coordinating inputs, managing timelines, and ensuring compliance with governance standards.
- Candidates should possess Bid Writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and structured documentation tailored to client requirements.
- Experience in security, risk mitigation, defence, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities, with attention to detail and deadline discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and document management platforms).
