About the Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to join a leading flooring and property services business at an exciting stage of its growth. As part of a fast-expanding B2B division, our client is continuing to strengthen its presence across the social housing, housebuilding, build-to-rent, and insurance sectors, securing places on major public sector frameworks and winning increasingly complex contracts nationwide. To support these ambitious growth plans, they are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to take ownership of a newly created role that will play a key part in shaping and driving future success.
Role Description
Reporting to the Head of B2B Partnerships, the Bid Manager will lead the end-to-end bid process across frameworks, tenders, DPS opportunities, and mini-competitions, ensuring high-quality, compliant submissions are delivered on time. Working closely with stakeholders across operations, finance, supply chain, and delivery teams, you will coordinate bid activities, manage bid/no-bid decisions, develop persuasive written responses, and help establish a best-in-class bid function. This is a unique opportunity to build processes, create a bid library, and influence the strategic direction of the business's bidding capability from the ground up.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
