SLR is a global leader in sustainability solutions, working with clients to help make sustainability happen, within a collaborative, people-first culture.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our established European Bid Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting major opportunities across our Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, working on large-scale and high-value bids across a diverse range of sectors.
We offer flexible hybrid working, enabling you to be connected to any of our UK offices while maintaining a balance between office and home working. As part of an international multidisciplinary consultancy, you will be supported to develop your full career potential within a highly collaborative environment.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex, multidisciplinary bids from opportunity capture through to submission
- Develop bid and win strategies that maximise success on strategic opportunities
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leaders across the business
- Work with technical specialists to develop compelling, high-scoring proposal content
- Manage bid programmes, reviews, governance processes and approvals
- Contribute to continuous improvement, lessons learned and bid library development
- Support presentations, interviews and mentoring activities within the wider bid team

About You
- Advanced experience in bid or proposal management, or demonstrable experience as a senior bid coordinator ready for the next step
- Strong understanding of public tendering processes and bid management best practice
- Experience delivering successful bids within a consulting, professional services or people-based business
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- Strong written communication skills, with experience developing persuasive proposal content
- Confident engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
- APMP Foundation certification and/or Adobe InDesign experience would be advantageous
