About The Role

This role sits within the Sales Capability, part of Sales & Marketing, PwC’s centralised support function, covering all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support, and business development. The team works closely with the Clients and Markets Executive to build and sustain competitive advantage.

As a Bid Manager, the role involves managing the full proposal process end-to-end, ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged at the appropriate stages. Responsibilities include supporting the team in shaping effective win strategies and ensuring clarity and alignment in their execution. The role is accountable for driving the proposal team, managing timelines and deadlines, and coordinating all contributors involved in the process.

Success in this role requires strong project management capabilities and excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and delivery of high-quality proposals.

  • Deliver end-to-end proposal support, including management, coaching, drafting, reviewing, and incorporating client feedback.
  • Partner with stakeholders to prioritise opportunities and embed best practice through training, insights, and trend analysis.
  • Develop and refine key proposal materials, including cover letters, executive summaries, team bios, CVs, and firm experience.
  • Share insights through internal debriefs, respond to content queries promptly, and strengthen SME networks.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new methodologies, tools, and GenAI, while collaborating across PwC teams and contributing to the Pursuits & Proposals community.

This Role Is For You If

  • Bring a strong background in proposal management within complex environments.
  • Demonstrate exceptional project management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams simultaneously.
  • Possess strong influencing, communication, and facilitation skills, enabling effective engagement with senior stakeholders.
  • Take a proactive, solution-focused approach, with a self-starter mindset and sound commercial awareness.
  • Have experience drafting and reviewing high-quality written communications to deliver clear messages within tight deadlines.
  • Are committed to delivering excellent client service throughout the proposal process.
  • Show high emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt communication and working style to different situations.
