Are you the person who thrives on winning? If you're commercially minded, highly organised, and known for bringing people together to deliver complex opportunities, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

We're looking for a confident and driven Bid Manager to take ownership of strategic opportunities from qualification through to submission. You'll be at the centre of the action, shaping winning proposals, influencing senior stakeholders, coordinating cross-functional teams, and helping secure significant commercial growth for the business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining commercial thinking, strategy, project management, and stakeholder engagement. While experience within telecommunications is beneficial, it isn't essential. We're particularly interested in candidates who have managed complex bids and can quickly understand and articulate technical or product-based solutions within a B2B environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the end-to-end bid lifecycle from qualification through to submission and post-bid review.
  • Developing winning strategies, value propositions, and customer-focused messaging. Collaborating with Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, and Technical teams to shape compelling solutions.
  • Managing bid governance, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Producing high-quality proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and ITT responses that stand out from the competition.
  • Supporting commercial decision-making to ensure proposals remain competitive and profitable.
  • Facilitating bid workshops, review sessions, and strategic discussions.
  • Driving continuous improvement through lessons learned and bid performance analysis.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
